The purpose of historical food is to spread the idea and bring the idea to remembrance that food brings people together. What I have discovered, while I cook or bake, that I tend to think about life and sometimes I think about my ancestors while I’m baking or cooking. Especially, if the recipes I’m using used to be my grandmother’s or another relative. I hope to help families draw closer one to another and help the art of food come back into families, even if it may take longer to cook some things.
